All that You are to us. May we apprehend You as You have apprehended us, Lord Jesus.
Hear our prayer.
Let’s start here:
Revelation 21:5-21: And He who sits on the throne said,
“Behold, I am making all things new.”
Also He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true
[they are accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy].
”And He said to me, “It is done.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.
To the one who thirsts
I will give [water] from the fountain of the water of life without cost.
He who overcomes
[the world by adhering faithfully to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior]
will inherit these things,
and I will be his God and he will be My son.
But as for the cowards and unbelieving and abominable
[who are devoid of character and personal integrity
practice or tolerate immorality],
and murderers, and sorcerers [with intoxicating drugs],
and idolaters and occultists [who practice and teach false religions],
and all the liars [who knowingly deceive and twist truth],
their part will be in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone,
which is the second death.”
Then one of the seven angels
who had the seven bowls filled with the seven final plagues came
and spoke with me, saying,
“Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
And he carried me away in the Spirit
to a vast and lofty mountain,
and showed me the holy (sanctified) city of Jerusalem
coming down out of heaven from God,
having God’s glory [filled with His radiant light].
The brilliance of it resembled a rare and very precious jewel,
like jasper, shining and clear as crystal.
It had a massive and high wall,
with twelve [large] gates,
and at the gates [were stationed] twelve angels;
and on the gates
the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were written.
On the east side [there were] three gates,
on the north three gates,
on the south three gates,
And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones,
and on them
the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb (Christ).
The one who was speaking with me
had a gold measuring rod to measure the city,
The city is laid out as a square,
its length being the same as its width;
and he measured the city with his rod—
twelve thousand stadia (about 1,400 miles);
its length and width and height are equal.
He measured its wall also—
a hundred forty-four cubits (about 200 feet),
according to man’s measurements,
which are [also] angelic [measurements]. The wall was built of jasper;
and the city was pure gold,
transparent like clear crystal.
The foundation stones of the wall of the city
were adorned with every kind of precious stone.
The first foundation stone was jasper;
the second, sapphire;
the third, chalcedony;
the fifth, sardonyx;
the sixth, sardius;
the seventh, chrysolite (yellow topaz);
the eighth, beryl;
the ninth, topaz;
the tenth, chrysoprase;
the eleventh, jacinth;
the twelfth, amethyst.
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls;
each separate gate was of one single pearl.
And the street (broad way) of the city was pure gold,
like transparent crystal.
In the book I wrote on page 428 through 430, I give detail meaning of each stone, if you want to search out those foundations…… Also, the foundations were 12 as to represent the twelve apostles:…… people, His children, us, His bride.
Each foundation is represented in each believer of Jesus Christ…… It either shows the character of Christ Jesus or the work of Him and His Spirit within us.
I brought this out….. to bring up the last stone in the 12th foundation….. Amethyst which represents sobriety….and dream stone. Also means to bind firmly, to be plump, to be in good liking, and recover and prevent intoxication.
This is a foundational stone that speaks we are not asleep to satan’s tactics and wiles. We are fully tuned into our King and His Spirit. We are fully alive in Him and dead to the world……
If you remember Paul with all the evil in the world in which he then walked the earth, His eyes and heart were completely on the Lord. He bowed to Him and allowed what came his way for His name to be known by His testimony. Evil in his path as his opposition continually, but He never deviated because the he certainly hungered after the Lord’s righteousness covering the earth because Heavenly Father bowed down and kissed us through Jesus Christ. Paul was overcome with the awesomeness of the One who apprehended him that one day on the way to detain people that followed His way.
I hear revival as almost a buzz word…… My question is …… Are we seeking revival more than the Holy One?
If I am wrong, let me know, but do the beatitudes in Matthew 5 and Luke 6 mention blessed are you if you seek revival? Just asking?
Hunger and thirst after righteousness, show mercy, are pure in heart, bring peace, poor in self righteousness, bow in meekness and mourn and are persecuted for His name’s sake.
I guess we could also say that these also are foundational stones to be made into the Chief’s cornerstones building.
The Book of Revelation is an outstanding, adventure, mystical book full of symbols and hidden meanings and truths.
The first couple of chapters are for the believers. There are words of instructions, warnings and hope to overcome the world as our King has.
Jesus Christ has overcome the world, rejoice.
Jesus Christ has overcome and we will by our faith.
He has died to the world, and we are as He is in the world.
We are not of the world….. We are of Him.
If we walk with Him, we shall be like Him…… Who can walk together and not agree.
We are one with Him and He with us, if we love Him and obey His Words.
The Word of God has come alive in His children, for He is dwells with and in us.
Now, His love has to be experienced to be known by Him and from Him in us.
His Word must be experienced in us for He is partaking His rights of King in our hearts.
The letters to the 7 churches in Revelation should be experienced by us….. He tests our hearts and then gives us the reward…..
Live in His revelation. Live in Christ Jesus and always be alive unto righteousness and dead to the world….. Pass the tests of the 7 churches….. Allow Holy Spirit to bring you into the trial and the rewards of His purpose and life He has reserved for and in you from the Beginning of His time.
There are 12 foundational stones built in the wall of His city, the wall that prevents anything opposed to Him to enter.
We are all the wall that keeps protected His presence as a shining light of righteousness where ever we are..He is, we take Him where are feet wander.
When we seek after Him and His righteousness, I believe what He is waiting on in us, will be manifested and we are pleasing in His sight. We may not even notice what He does….. But He does and will allow the finger of God to be known right here and now.
Let’s keep our eye on the prize of the high calling that we have in Christ Jesus and all else will be granted to us……
His actions of power are known spiritually and physically to those who have their eyes open to see the King.
After all, we live before an Audience of One.
Allow His Spirit work His Words of wisdom and knowledge through us to be so natural even though it is His supernatural working through us.
Let His words be spoken through us in all our praying in tongues. Pour out His mystery words in code hidden from the opposition.
Let the dreams we dream be His illumination of the state of His people. Then pray.
Allow and be disciplined to for the finger of God to work out from us….
When we shine as His foundational stones, then wow, what will happen?
When He does not answer what we want, He is answering what He wants.
Let’s stop and listen and obey!
This is the confidence we have in approaching God:
that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—
we know that we have what we asked of him.
I really love the Book of 1 John.
Thetruths spoken by John keep us in a fully awake stature.
If we have His Spirit then we know we are abiding in Christ Jesus., just one example.
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ
is born of God,
and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.
This is how we know that we love the children of God:
by loving God and carrying out his commands.
In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands.
And his commands are not burdensome,
for everyone born of God overcomes the world.
This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
Who is it that overcomes the world?
Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
1 John 5
More to come! As He is so are we in this world!
Selah!
