We Cannot Change A Corpse…..We Are NOW A New Creation…..How?

What happens when we say Yes to God’s Salvation?

Okay, Resurrection Sunday came and went. Many people accepted our King’s sacrifice of His death to save us from our sins…….

He rose so now we have hope, we will rise from the dead.

Do we know when we said “ yes to Him”, we also confirmed we died with Him?

The Word of God, the One who made salvation available to mankind, has something more planned than a free get out of hell card…..…..

You are now a new creation……

He died for us.

Our spirit is  already dead within us because of sin…..Now, we are alive because He lives….Our spirits within us are alive in Him……

This is big deal…..We believe this by faith in His living word  because it says so.

God said it and we believe it…… Then we live it.

Now we are to have His Spirit living within our spirit…..

We are not alone now trying to be better people……

But we are being changed into the image of our King…… as beholding an image in a mirror.

By faith to faith and glory to glory…….

These are His rules and His plan which will be complete into His purpose.

Will you join Him in allowing His will to be completed through you?

Let’s check out Romans 6…..This is the first book after the book of Holy Spirit actions in Acts….

His Word is always progressive for this is God’s nature- always increasing Himself throughout the universe…..

Will you join Him in His progression?

What shall we say, then?

Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?

By no means!

We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.

For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—

because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.

Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life;

and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

 What then?

Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace?

By no means!

Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves,

you are slaves of the one you obey—

whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin,

you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.

You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations.

Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness,

so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness.

When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.

What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of?

Those things result in death!

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God,

the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

For the wages of sin is death,

but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.( Romans 6).

Now we can rest assured of our place in His salvation, right?

But maybe you do not feel a newness of life…….by faith, my friend, by faith…

What did Jesus Christ, our King, on His last night with His crew spent the whole time speaking of Whom?

The Promise from the Father who was coming once His blood was shed and He was ushered up into the heavenlies…

He was speaking of a Helper coming to dwell with us and in us……

He is here now.

He is here with you now…..

Please read John  chapters 12-17……..

Prepare your heart for what Holy Spirit coming in you and dwell with you.  Learn what this means for you….

Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus.

God is awesome…..

Can His Spirit be within you if you have not asked?

Ask and seek and knock for our King to bestow on you His Spirit and within you.

There is a lot more to His salvation then saying yes on Resurrection Day…….

It is saying yes to Him over and over and over. He is a Gentleman and will only continue if you say yes…..

What He is doing and will continue to do in you is beyond what you can imagine or think…….

Come on and let’s check out some more on His Promise to us……..in Romans 8:

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh,

God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering.

And so he condemned sin in the flesh,

in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us,

who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires;

but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

The mind governed by the flesh is death,

but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God;

it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.

Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit,

if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.

And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ,

they do not belong to Christ.

But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin,

the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you,

he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of[e] his Spirit who lives in you.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—

but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die;

but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves,

so that you live in fear again;

rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.

And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ,

if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice,

but by the will of the one who subjected it,

in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay

and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit,

groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship,

the redemption of our bodies.

For in this hope we were saved.

But hope that is seen is no hope at all.

Who hopes for what they already have?

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.

We do not know what we ought to pray for,

but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit,

because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

And we know that in all things

God works for the good of those who love him,

who  have been called according to his purpose.

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son,

that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

And those he predestined, he also called;

those he called,

he also justified;

those he justified,

he also glorified.

What, then, shall we say in response to these things?

If God is for us, who can be against us?

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—

how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen?

It is God who justifies.

Who then is the one who condemns?

No one.

Christ Jesus who died—

more than that, who was raised to life—

is at the right hand of God

and is also interceding for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or

famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors

through him who loved us.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life,

neither angels nor demons,

neither the present nor the future,

nor any powers,

neither height nor depth,

nor anything else in all creation,

will be able to separate us from the love of God

that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I know, wrote Littlestone, this is a lot to take in…..But this is what you said yes to on Resurrection Sunday…….

Littlestone was preparing the Words of His Savior and the plans He has for each of His children.

These Words are the foundation of all who say YES!

They said yes to the One they turned and saw because they heard….His whisper.

God’s Whisperer, to each of us is Holy Spirit.

Littlestone prayed that many would hear.

Then absorb this Truth by reading over and over these blessed words regardingthe greatness of what God has planned for us.

Praise to God , Father, the Son and Spirit, Three in One……

Thank You, Abba Father, for Your abundant strength shown in Your mercy and grace.

Thank You for the shed blood of our King Christ Jesus…..

Thank You Abba for Your Promise of Holy Spirit.

He ended his writing with a plea for all those to spend a couple of days reading these chapters in the morning and evening so they may know the love of God that we all have found in Christ Jesus.

There is so much more……There is so much more……Let’s progress into His progression of His purpose.

SELAH!!
