For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him who we must give account.
Seeing then we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession, ( Hebrews 4:12-14.
Little Person with the disciples enjoyed their pizza and soda together. They sat around a large table together discussing their day in God. Not thinking that every day is in God and by Him alone…..
Time was moving on and Little Person wanted to get through the Sower and the seed parable.
Hey, he said, I got an idea, why don’t we continue on around the tables.
Let me ask you a question: what do you all think the thirty-, sixty- and hundred-fold harvest represents?
They looked at him with open mouths.
One spoke up, I do not think we have any idea.
Little Person smiled, at least you are honest!
Staying straight in Him, honesty is the first key for us, said a disciple.
Okay, what is the seed? asked Little Person.
They all answered, the Word of God.
Little Person said, right.
Okay, open up your Ancient Book to Colossians 3:4. C O L A S S I A N S, chapter 3, verse 4. Let’s read this verse.
When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
When we believe His Word. The Word or seed is planted into our hearts. We protect and treasure His Words just as we would our breath. He is our life and our breath…. When we appear with Him, we will be in His glory….. Glory because His Word has been active and alive in us working mightily.
If someone would put a pillow over your mouth and nose, you would fight like never before to get your breath…… When things come against what God says, we fight the fight of faith to stand on what He has spoken to us…… until we breathe again. He will confirm always His Word spoken to us when we stand the test of faith. The His Word will be fulfilled in us. His Love and His Word never fails.
Remember the reason we celebrate Christmas, right? The baby Jesus was born of virgin Mary. Well, as written in Luke 1:35: Then the angel replied to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you [like a cloud]; for that reason the holy (pure, sinless) Child shall be called the Son of God.
Look, His Word is planted in you and our Heavenly Father by His Spirit is overshadowing us to make His Word grow and bear fruit. Do you see this?
We protect His Word planted in our heart. We take this stance as we believe by faith every word which spoken from the mouth of God. His Word is our food. We do not believe what we see around us. We lean into Him and trust Him alone.
How we value His Word will produce the crop of thirty, sixty and hundredfold.
Make a note to read Genesis, G E N E S I S, chapters 37-47. You have a couple of days to read this story of a man who went through many trials but what God had spoken to him in dreams were proven in Joseph after many days, even years.
God gives us His Words. The seeds get planted and grow. Trials and tests and persecutions make our faith work the Word in us much like water and fertilizer makes the seed grow into a plant that bears eventually fruit. Then from the plant drops more seed to be cultivated. God is very consumed with multiplication……
Do you understand what His Word does? It is written in I S A I A H, chapter 55, verse 11:
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
If you treat His Word and study and fellowship in and with His Spirit as your new found Treasure. The Word is growing and growing. His Word is alive in you. This is the harvest He is after in your field. Seeing His image come alive in your heart.
God’s Word does not fall void, but always produces what He said it would do as we read in Isaiah.
But that makes you think a minute regarding all the fields Jesus spoke over as His Word fell into all the peoples’ hearts over all the generations that have walked the earth since time began and as He rose from the dead and became the First Resurrected Son until now. That is a mediatation moment, huh?
If all His Words are fulfilled as He purposed them…..then, what about all the hearts that heard the Word……. and were in the 6 categories as He spoke on the Sower and the seed?
Wasn’t the hearer’s responsibility to hear and receive Him or His Word? asked one disciple.
Yes, exactly……Jesus wept over Jerusalem because they did not believe in Him, the Word of God…… I am not pointing finger, but using this example of the heart of God of those who turn away from His Son and His Word……He does not wish any wicked to perish.
In the book of Luke 19, verses 41-42:
As He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept over it [and the spiritual ignorance of its people], saying, “If [only] you had known on this day [of salvation], even you, the things which make for peace [and on which peace depends]! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.
You as the field may be a thirty- maybe you will not be a fanatic sold out Jesus freak. You might not be seen looking to the skies for His sign or knowing the times and seasons of His hand. You might not be concerned with what He is doing….. Going to weekly service and going on with your life is sufficient.
You as the sixty field…. You are giving Him 60 fold…… This is good as well as the thirty fold…. But there is some hold back in the field, or our heart in this 60 harvest. The mind of man still prevails versus the mind of Christ…..Maybe reasoning kicks in versus again having the mind of Christ.
Jesus Christ gave up everything to do the will of our Heavenly Father.
His testimony of complete obedience even unto death on this earth brought glory to Heavenly Father. He obeyed our Heavenly Father’s will 100% and without sin.
A hundred-fold harvest to Him would be filled in us with Him completely. The old man is gone, meaning when we are brought up to task by Holy Spirit, we quickly go His way. The old man’s ways and actions are gone up to this day, meaning we are walking in His Light as much as He has revealed into us.
We carry the cross until we breath our last breath. When He gives us His wheat to eat. We take it whole hearted. All is out from God from this soul. The works are of His is doing, He sees His doing through us….
We do what we see our heavenly Father doing and say what our heavenly Father says to say, just as Jesus did. He is the First of many brethren, which we are.
We continue and continue with our listening what Holy Spirit says to do and be….. and we look for His divine opportunities for talking of our King and His ancient book…… until as written in Ephesians, E P H E S I A N S 4: 13 :
until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity].
We are consumed with Him. He now is our obesession.
He sees we are persistent in our walk in Him.
Most important is He is seeing your seeking His gaze to know how you are loving God with your whole heart and being. Everything you got. You are by His power loving God and obeying the first commandment.
Okay, so days go on.
Then as you are driving or walking, you hear Him, walk blameless before Me.
You think, okay Lord, but how? Please show me what that means to You.
Give me grace and I say yes.
Then you read in your scheduled reading in the Word, the same scripture in Genesis 17. You now know this was Holy Spirit speaking to you.
You start to talk to Him on what is it to be blameless before Him.
You ask for understanding. Then His Wisdom to walk it out.
Then BAAM…… You are being tested on His Word He just taught you.
We learn by experience of His Word working and proving Himself in us….
He wants us all…. His Seed wants to grow big in us.
His Voice is what your ears tune into as all else seems to be a faint hum.
Him first. Our desire is Him first.
When things go crazy, Him first.
When things go fantastic, Him first.
Fellowship in Holy Spirit and His Word….. talking to Him as written in 1 John, J O H N, chapter 1, verse 3:
what we have seen and heard we also proclaim to you, so that you too may have fellowship [as partners] with us. And indeed our fellowship [which is a distinguishing mark of born-again believers] is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.
Our ears listen for what we desire and love.
If we desire God and all the measure of Himself which He has given us, we will always hear His whisper.
Just ask Him…. You have question, ask Him. Keep asking and listening for understanding.
Our fellowship with Him is what He desires and when we participate within Him, we will always produce His harvest and glory to Him. We are the branch and He is the sap or juice, or His power that flows through the branch……. It’s is His harvest.
In the book of Hebrews, we are given a warning and a truth……in chapter 4. Let’s turn to this chapter now. H E B R E W S, this book is in the New Testament:
Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still remains and is freely offered today, let us fear, in case any one of you may seem to come short of reaching it or think he has come too late.
For indeed we have had the good news [of salvation] preached to us, just as the Israelites also [when the good news of the promised land came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not united with faith [in God] by those who heard.
For we who believe [that is, we who personally trust and confidently rely on God] enter that rest [so we have His inner peace now because we are confident in our salvation, and assured of His power], just as He has said,
“As I swore [an oath] in My wrath,
They shall not enter My rest,”
[this He said] although His works were from the foundation of the world [waiting for all who would believe].
For somewhere [in Scripture] He has said this about the seventh day: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; and again, in this, “They shall not enter My rest.”
Therefore, since the promise remains for some to enter His rest, and those who formerly had the good news preached to them failed to [grasp it and did not] enter because of [their unbelief evidenced by] disobedience,He again sets a definite day, [a new] “Today,” [providing another opportunity to enter that rest by] saying through David after so long a time, just as has been said before [in the words already quoted],
“Today if you hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts.”
[This mention of a rest was not a reference to their entering into Canaan.] For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not speak about another day [of opportunity] after that.
So there remains a [full and complete] Sabbath rest for the people of God.
For the one who has once entered His rest has also rested from [the weariness and pain of] his [human] labors, just as God rested from [those labors uniquely] His own.
Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], so that no one will fall by following the same example of disobedience [as those who died in the wilderness].
For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective].
It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.
And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, and revealed to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account.
Inasmuch then as we [believers] have a great High Priest who has [already ascended and] passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith and cling tenaciously to our absolute trust in Him as Savior].
For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin.
Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].
Okay, let’s read it again. I want you to pay attention to the words: rest, trust, obedience and, of course, disobedience. Also, underline what the Word of God is and does to us.
The Word of God is hard on our feelings and flesh or our carnal nature, which makes up the old man that died with Him spiritually on the cross.
When we hear, obey and do things His way, then we are living the truth out. The old man, the sinner, the drug addict, is gone on the cross and our lives living out in His Word is proving His truth in us. We are now a new creation in Christ Jesus.
Who are the Israelites? asked one disciple.
We have not yet gotten into the Old Testament. God chose these people to live in the land called Israel now. The Old Testament is for our edification to learn to do what they did and do not do what they did not do. However, we have been given faith in Jesus Christ and His grace which gives us the strength to walk as He wants us.
A disclaimer here: We would be no different weren’t it for the blood of Jesus Christ and His cross and His magnificent grace, right?
A chorus sung out, Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Son, our Lord.
They did not enter into rest in God as written but, we should enter into our rest in Jesus Christ.
I see rest in Jesus Christ, as I really trust Him in this and in that situation regarding my life or my future or provision or health.
Put the word of your concern, and ask yourself if you really trusting Him in that area. If not, look up in His Book the concern and start reading His promise regarding this area of life.
Then ask for His grace to trust Him for what He says.
He was faithful for you here and there. Now stand in faith that He is faithful in this area….. Do you see His walk with you?
BAAM! His Word is growing now in you…..
He will show Himself strong for those who are seeking and looking for Him….
My trust is in Him because He has shown up to me in so many ways in so many of my days. I remember His goodness then I make a decision in my heart- I will trust Him in whatever is coming up this minute. I need Him,….. Him alone.
Psalm 31:19 promises us: Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!
So, I think the above scripture in Hebrew is our guide for His Word is alive and active in us producing His 30-60-100 harvest in us.
One hundred symbolically means complete or full. He wants to see our completeness found in Him. We will be found walking blameless before Him…..
I know you all do a moral inventory every night…… You can do this with Him and His view.
You will be kept by Him on His narrow road. I promise. You will be so consumed or obsessed with Him….. He is better than any high or drunk you ever had out there.
This I promise.
As your prayers are answered, you’ll have a joy that nothing in this world can produce.
His grace and strength and love never fails us. He will always prove His Word in our lives.
Well, there is no measure of God’s love.
His love can be found in you without any limits.
There are no boundaries in God’s love.
There are no boundaries in Jesus Christ.
Our hearts are the problem in receiving all the love He wants to pour into us.
Our unbelief can stop Him in a heartbeat as well as in not knowing Him.
Give our ear to His Spirit speaking to us within. Keep your ear tuned in to Him.
Do not limit God and His power working in you and for your behalf.
Do not limit God. He has no limits or boundaries.
Got that?
Repeat that phrase…..
We will not limit God in our days, said the crew.
Read Ephesians 3:17:
So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
So do you understand the last part of the 30-60-100 fold? His love for us and in us will always produce His harvest. His Word is working mightily in you.
Yeah, they all chimed in.
Read the Word. Spend time in prayer and talking to God often.
Ask Him questions on His words that you do not understand.
He will explain with other scriptures as I have shown you regarding the parable of the Sower and the seed.
Enter in to His throne boldly in your time of need. He will help you,
Remember the words: HELP ME!!!!
The disciples all laughed.
Okay, if there are no other questions.
A hand raised.
Little Person said okay, what’s up?
The disciple started, well, there was more than the Sower and the seed in those 23 verses. I still wonder on why God said their hearts have grown dull and they will not turn to Me to heal them?
Okay, said Little Person, remember the first three cases of the seed falling?
When each person through the span of his life hears and hears and hears and never turns towards Him. Their heart becomes harder and harder each time they will not repent and not turn to Him to be healed. Healed from sin.
Some think or decieve themselves in they are not sinning. They never go to Him to get saved and healed by His blood. They reject His Word and His cross.
Just as I showed you in Luke 19, Jesus was sent to His own people at the time He walked on the earth. They rejected Him, just as hearts are doing today…… Their hearts were dull and hardened as some will be found in today’s countries all over the world. But we who did turn to Him, He gave us the right to become the children of God as written in John 1:12, remember?
All have a free will, if man does hear and not turn his heart to believe….his or her heart will not turn and be healed……
This is not His choice but theirs. You want someone to believe in you and love you. You draw close to those who do, right? God wants us to love Him. God wants us to love Him. Even though, He gives us the grace to turn to Him. He also gives us His love to love Him. Before we have Him in us, we are incapable to truly love Him or even ourselves or others.
Let’s read this chapter of Romans, R O M A N S.
Romans, R O M A N S, chapter 1 states in verses 18-32:
For [God does not overlook sin and] the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who in their wickedness suppress and stifle the truth, because that which is known about God is evident within them [in their inner consciousness], for God made it evident to them.
For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense.
For even though they knew God [as the Creator], they did nothonor Him as God or give thanks [for His wondrous creation].
On the contrary, they became worthless in their thinking [godless, with pointless reasonings, and silly speculations], and their foolish heart was darkened.
Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God for an image [worthless idols] in the shape of mortal man and birds and four-footed animals and reptiles.
Therefore, God gave them over in the lusts of their own hearts to [sexual] impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them [abandoning them to the degrading power of sin], because [by choice] they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
For this reason, God gave them over to degrading and vile passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural [a function contrary to nature], and in the same way also the men turned away from the natural function of the woman and were consumed with their desire toward one another, men with men committing shameful acts and in return receiving in their own bodies the inevitable and appropriate penalty for their wrongdoing.
And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or consider Him worth knowing [as their Creator], God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do things which are improper and repulsive, until they were filled (permeated, saturated) with every kind of unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice and mean-spiritedness.
They are gossips [spreading rumors], slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors [of new forms] of evil, disobedient and disrespectful to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful [without pity].
Although they know God’s righteous decree and His judgment, that those who do such things deserve death, yet they not only do them, but they even [enthusiastically] approve and tolerate others who practice them.
It is written in Isaiah 57:18-21:
I have seen their ways, but I will heal them;
I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners,
creating praise on their lips.
Peace, peace, to those far and near,”
says the Lord. “And I will heal them.”
But the wicked are like the tossing sea,
which cannot rest,
whose waves cast up mire and mud.
“There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”
We are living proof of the great mercy of God. We understand what Jesus Christ did for us….. Grace, grace and more grace…. He is a great good God. He has given everyone a free will. However, when you turn from Him many times, He allows that deceiving spirit to rule in the souls of the rebellious. There is no peace for the wicked.
Somebody cried out, I know all about no peace because I did not know God. But, today, I have Him and I have peace…Thank You Lord for removing the deceiving spirit from me when You cleansed me with Your blood, Father God and Jesus Christ.
Everyone said, AMEN and Alleluia!!!
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge produces the fear of the Lord. Not to be afraid of Him but there is a holy respect of His mercy and grace that we do not want to trample upon so great a Gift we have in His Son, our great King.
All agree, asked Little Person.
Yes, thank You Lord, said His army in unison.
One more scripture, okay?
One cried out, go for it….. This is our life now, man.
Let’s go to 2 Corinthians: 6:14-18:
Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial (Satan)? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said:
“I will dwell among them and walk among them;
And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
“So come out from among unbelievers and be separate,” says the Lord,
“And do not touch what is unclean;
And I will graciously receive you and welcome you [with favor],
And I will be a Father to you,
And you will be My sons and daughters,”
Says the Lord Almighty.
This is all about God’s sovereignty, He rules in the affairs of all mankind. We may not understand all but we do know and have experienced His mercy over us and PRAISE HIM for HIM!, Right?
We have received His overshadowing us in His mercy and grace and with His Son’s blood, Jesus Christ.
They all shouted, alleluia!!
And for us, turn to Galatians 6:14, G A L A T I A N S, chapter 6, verse 14:
But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avail anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
Amen!!!!? Little Person was seeking confirmation….. There was a silence as they reread the scripture….
Then Little Person heard, Yeah, we are new creature in Jesus. Amen!
One disciple said, I dare someone to tell me I am not His or His new creature. I will tell them all about Jesus Christ.
Good response, said Little Person.
We have died to world and world has been crucified to us as we glory in Christ and His cross alone, repeated Little Person.
Amen and Alleluia to our King, said the new recruits for His cause: to save the lost.
In studying these 23 verses, we cannot miss discussing His drawing us near as He gives us the understanding regarding 30-60-100 fold. There He is again overshadowing us.
Look at this:
He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
My brothers and sisters, rejoice and jump for joy!!! You have been given understanding from Holy Spirit….. You understand this mystery of God……
Keep your heart close to His heart. You understand what He desires from us….. We are learning know of His heart cry as He came to give of Himself for your heart cry.
He has many things He wants to show each of you.
Write them down and treasure Him and His Words. You are greatly loved and treasured in His eyes.
We praise God and say : ALLELUIA!!!!! He has given us ears to hear and eyes to see and hearts to receive His love and all His goodness, and most of Himself, the Word of God.
Right?, asked Little Person.
Little Person continued reading scripture over them, 1 Thessalonians 2:12-13: encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.
And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.
Alleluia!! was shouted through the room.
You all had a very long God day. You have a bunch of time and scriptures in Him to study and meditate on the next couple of days.
Grab a piece of cake and something to drink to take back to your room.
Let’s say thanks to our great God.
Father God,
You are glorious and magnificent. May these treasures of Yours be filled to the point of overflowing in the knowledge and love of You today. Keep them from all harm and evil as Your Word stays to take root into their souls.
Father, we ask that we may give You full reign over our field which yields You a 100 fold. May You see and be glorified by Your children. Let them fall in rest tonight and hear Your singing over them.
Allow them to awaken in the morning, remembering Your dreams and visions that cement Your word to them today.
We praise You and thank You for showing up as always beyond measure. Thank You for giving us the grace to know You have no boundaries…. Help our unbelief that we will not limit You. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
We love You. You are the most awesome God. Yet, You have manifested Yourself to us today. We thank You for giving us the right to become Your sons and daughters. We hold You precious in us.
In Jesus’ name.
AMEN and ALLELUIA!!!!
The sound of His praise filled the building.
They all got up, grabbed some cake and went to their rooms.
As the last one left, Little Person let out a huge sigh.
He was excited and exhausted at the same time.
He picked up his Ancient Book and headed for his car.
The director and Uri met Little Person in the hall.
Hey, we want to take you to dinner, okay?
Little Person said, okay.
Director spoke, give me about twenty minutes. Go ahead to our favorite spot with Uri. I will be there shortly, okay?
Little Person said, sure.
Uri was all excited and as usual shining brightly from the love of her King coming through her.
Uri said, follow me there. Okay?
Little Person said, okay, but don’t speed away as lightning without me, okay?
Uri turned around and flashed a smile that lit up the world. It even shook his breath a bit.
