Roman 8:28 speaks to us today: And we know all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
All things- even the virus- all things work together for good…….Can we expect the goodness of God today in the land of the living? YES!!!!!! We must believe in His faithfulness.
Once I pretended to drop an envelope on a person laying in a hospital bed….. I asked, if I open my hand, will this piece of mail fall on your lap? He said, of course it will. Looking at me a little bewildered…..I asked, why? He said, because I know it will. I asked again, why? He answered, because of gravity. I said, right, you have experienced gravity first hand right? He said, yes……. I said, well, God is the same way, we must know Him and experience Him…. He is your Healer because He is faithful to His promise to you and loves you so much He died for you. Trust Him and get to know Him….. Trust Him….. Love Him…. I always say, if you know God, you love Him…… if you love God, it is because you know Him.
It really does not matter where the virus came from other than the obvious, evil…….. The evil one will use who ever he can that is not a believer of Jesus Christ and our Father to do his destruction as written in John 10. Schemes and plans started by evil very early and will continue till the end of this age…… In this, we must know God and His faithfulness……… Through this, even some may be fooled they are doing great work for God, but they are far from Him…. As it is written in the Be Attitudes…… Matthew 7:21-23: Not everyone, who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?
And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.
Then we see in the Holy Writ in Hebrews 8:10-12, For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.
For I will be mericful to their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
Hmmm, seems hard to understand the Holy Writ, huh? Nope, let me show you….. He knows our hearts and the directions of our intents formed in our hearts. If they are not earnestly living in Him. He knows. We do not need to social distance from God! It might be the problem that we have! In this time, alcohol sales are up as well as other yuckie distractions—– Will they save you? Just asking……Or put you in early living hell so you may then turn to the One who can save your soul.
It is sort of like, trying to take that one cookie that our moms told us not to eat because it would ruin our appetites for the real meal…… How did she know when we did not listen? Could it be the chocolate stain on our lips and teeth? Well, He sees those agendas/ stains too written on our hearts….. He wants His Word written on our hearts….. We are His redeemed ones—- We are His….. His Word written on our hearts prove we are His or not.
I asked you if you partake?
I am asking when we eat at Lord’s Supper to go for His whole counsel…… We must add to our honoring His sacrifice and then make it our own.
When the Israelites celebrated the Passover, they put the blood of the lamb on the door posts to protect them from the angel of death….. Solomon also built a temple to worship the God of the universe……
It was an outside act of worship. Rules and regulations that were to be obeyed. The worship was observed on our outside person as the temple was also visible….. But God wanted our hearts, the outside was to show what was to be inside of our hearts…… But our hearts were dead until…… we were raised in Christ Jesus …… by our faith.
This worship in Israel was a type and shadow of the coming revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He was the Lamb slain and now by faith we apply His blood over us and- yes, in us… In us, when we drink His blood….. When we eat the Bread of Life, Jesus Christ, symbolized in the little piece of bread, we are partaking of HIM.
We do not only celebrate His dying and resurrection and reception into heaven, we are also partaking all of Him to be in us and us in Him.
We partake of His strength, His Truth, His Spirit, His character.
We now worship Him in Spirit and Truth as written in John 3….… We can only truly worship Him by abiding in His Word, Jesus Christ, by Holy Spirit and as we do….. then, the transformation happens putting His Word on our hearts. Did you ever come to a situation, and you stopped to think a minute and ZOOM- the Word of God comes to your mind and is the perfect solution and answer to the dilemma you were facing? This is revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ being alive in you and written on your hearts…… This means we know Him- not just a memorization- but it is written and been experienced by us, His people, He is alive in us.
This living relationship with Holy Spirit is soo cool. We learn that our hearts are not far away but so close that we feel His breath. We are not running here and there, but can stop and talk to Him. He is right there listening and He always answers. He will answer our time of fellowship. Come on taste and see the Lord of hosts and the Lord God of creation and the Uncreated One is so good and exciting. He never leaves us or forsakes us.
Do you partake? He does not want us to celebrate His death and resurrection and reception into heaven as a ritual…… How boring that would be if we gathered with our family around a meal and it was only ritual but no talking or joking or just sharing our day…..He wants relationship……HE IS ALIVE!!!!
Romans 12:1-2 speaks today to us: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The above scripture was not if you feel like it or when ever you get around to it type command……
By our obedience, we get to learn about Him…… and His sacrifice of love pouring forth on us. We learn of His timing, His ways and His majesty…. We really learn that there is none like Him.
As written in 1 John 2:15-17,: Do not love the world or the things in the world. I f anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life- is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Then, John helps us understand His purpose for us as written in 1 John 2:20-29: But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist who the Father and the Son.
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.
And this is the promise that He has promised us- eternal life.
These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you.
But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
If you know that He is righteous, you know that every one who practices righteousness is born of Him.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, and we should be called the children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are the children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies Himself, just as He is pure.
I pray that we really understand the call that He has called us to learn of the unsearchable riches of Christ….. The truth that the Uncreated One wants us to be with Him 24/7 and Him with us 24/7 is inconceivable but is Truth…. So do we partake or what?
I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; and that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe You sent Me. and the glory who You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one; I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me, Jesus prayed after He had the Last Supper with His crew. Hey, do you think His prayer has been answered?
So, beloved, there are indescribable blessings to be explored and received from our God through His Son, Jesus Christ…… Our Lord…… Are we going to dig into His Deeper and Bigger Meal, or what?
Colossians 1:27 is our promise of how we worship God now in Spirit and Truth: To them God willed to make known what are the riches of glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Let’s pray:
May we be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, ( Colossians 1:9-14).

As we are to have a restart, may it be a new holy restart. We need God and His Spirit who dwells within us to lead us into the best plan He has for us. May we take the next couple of days to turn to Him and see His plans for each of us to prosper. He has great ideas and plans and strategies for each of us…. Let us partake!! He has it all mapped out, but we must be still, believe He is God and LISTEN! May we remember to give Him thanksgiving in keeping us safe and to lead us into this next stage of walking out His plan these coming days….. Hear this day as He does speak to each of us……. Look up and believe He is here for us. Please let us look not to get things back to normal….. Let us allow Him to bring us to His plan which is greater and better.
