For it is the number of man; His number is 666, (Revelation 13:18).
The Lord created two living beings on the sixth day….He created first all the beasts and the second was man, created in God’s own image from the dust of the earth. First came the lower life and the second creation on the sixth day was a higher life.
Then Adam brought us out of the life intended by God….. to walk with Him and rule with Him, most important to know Him intimately….
Our spirit died, and our soulish or natural man ran things. We lost all knowledge of God…. because those who worship Him have to be led by the Spirit and in Truth…. Adam’s race, the first man, lost that with God……
Please do not get offended, but without God, we may have more intelligence but our morality is no different then the beasts of the field…. Our thinking and ways are against God, we are in conflict with Him constantly….. But He, as a loving and powerful God, had a plan from the foundation of the world…. He knew the weakness of man found in Adam…. Without Christ, we remain like the beasts. We choose to live a life way below the standard that God has intended for us.
However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man. Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption, ( 1 Corinthians 15:46-50).
For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin; He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His, ( Romans 8: 3-9).
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For who has the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ, (1 Corinthians 2:14-16).
The carnal or the natural man is enmity with our God…. The natural man without Christ has chosen to remain in the dark….. But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them, (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).
What does the Spirit mean when He tells us to calculate the number of the beast which is the number of man…… He tells us everything without us calculating ….. We have the mind of Christ, which is the understanding of God and His ways…… The beast of 666 is the number of man’s spirit, soul, and flesh totally corrupted. God sees these as beasts because they remained without the light of Christ.
So the image of Christ is being formed within the followers of Jesus Christ, so then what is being formed in the ones that reject the truth of God in receiving the Salvation of Jesus Christ? What is being formed within?
The coming of lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they may be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness, (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)
The admonitions of the Lord have gone out. He separates those that choose Him above all else unto Himself…. He always has been and always will be…. Our Father is seeking those to worship Him in Spirit and Truth….. That is the only way and it is narrow. However He has given us all things pertaining to live a godly life unto to Him, by Him, and for Him….
Woe, to those who don’t turn their ear and heart to Him when He visits them again and again and again. His mercy never ending in this age….. but there will be a day of reckoning with the great and mighty God. This age of grace will come to an end.
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of a man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have not received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God, (1 Corinthians 2:12).
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage, ( Galatians 5:1).
And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also, walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited provoking one another, envying one another, ( Galatians 5: 24-26).
But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me and I to the world, ( Galatians 6:13).
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height- to the know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen, ( Ephesians 3:14-21).
Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? – unless indeed you are disqualified, ( 2 Corinthians 13:5).
You were contemplating on being the temple of God as written in 2 Corinthians 6. You were seeing each member of the body of Christ, being filled with His Spirit to the fullness that God desires…… That is a never ending vision to pray and meditate on.
You were thinking we are filled with either the Spirit of the living God, or we are filled with something dark…. Light and dark cannot be in the same place…..Light comes in and darkness hits the road!
You heard Him speak: the fire of My Spirit burns away the chaff and what remains cannot be burned away……I Am a Consuming Fire. I Am the Light that will not burn out, I Am brighter in My children as the day of the Lord approaches.
Father, give us eyes to see and ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying to us today, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Then the courage to go against the flow of religion to live it out by faith in You.
